Sometimes a game is so simple that its simplicity makes it even better. In Animal Upon Animal players stack animals, as you might have guessed, upon other animals. The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of your animals.

Setting up the game is critical. First, you need to make sure you are playing on an even and level surface. A wobbly crocodile won’t help anyone. Then, place the crocodile in the center of the table. It’s the first animal of the animal pyramid. Each player takes seven different animals from the pile of animals and puts them in front of him. The extra animals go back in the box.
